One Day – Naivasha Experience

0630hrs – Pick up from your hotel or place of residence in Nairobi and commence the journey by road to Naivasha.  We are set to arrive at the Hells Gate Park by 8am then proceed for 2 hours tour of Hell Gate. You can go up to the Gorges with a guide and explore this park as the guide narrates to you the various land features and vegetation unique to Hells Gate. 

With a visit to Hell’s gate, there are also bikes on hire to ride round designated areas and explore as well as a chance to enjoy horse riding. This will be fun for those interested to take part.

Hells Gate is famous for its natural hot geysers, eagle and vulture breeding grounds as well as activities by visitors in the park such as walking, cycling and rock climbing. There are also special locations to view such as Fischer’s’ Tower formerly a volcano’s plug, the central Tower and Njorowas Gorge.

There are a few wildlife’s in this park and over 100 species of birds have been recorded.

1030hrs – Drive to Olkaria a geothermal plant site with a newly built recreational area. At Olkaria is where you find Africa’s biggest natural health spa. A good place to relax and unwind and enjoy swimming after touring Hells Gate.  

1230hrs – Drive to Elsamere conservation canter, on arrival proceed for buffet lunch, Afterwards, you can watch a documentary film for one 30 minutes regarding Naivasha town.

Later at 4pm depart for boat ride experience, the ride is for one hour and you get to see hippo, crocodile, water-based birds among other species. Your guide will take you through the history of the surrounding people’s lifestyles and the land features surrounding the lake.

1730hrs-  Start the drive back to Nairobi and upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped back to your home or hotel of residence.
